Several groups are calling for an increase in the available radio spectrum for the development of new technologies. Billed as an under utilized resource, many hold the view that outdated viewpoints are the only thing limiting more progressive use of the radio spectrum. Already valuable to defense, emergency response and general communication systems, is the radio spectrum the platform for emerging technolgoy development? Many believe it is.
