We're excited about producing a truly independent, nonpartisan event that allows a variety of viewpoints to be discussed and debated. The program features over 25 experts from the public and private sectors, including:
- Stratton Sclavos - Chairman and CEO of VeriSign
- Hon. Jon Dudas - Undersecretary of Commerce for IP and Director of the US Patent Office
- Nathan Myhrvold - CEO of Intellectual Ventures (and former CTO of Microsoft)
- Hemanshu Nigam - Chief Security Officer for MySpace/Fox Interactive Media
- Phil Bond - President of the Information Technology Association of America
- Gigi Sohn - President of Public Knowledge
- Jay Adelson - CEO of digg
- Dave Sifry - CEO of Technorati
Plus, senior execs from AT&T, IBM, HP, Intel, Microsoft, AMD, Verizon, EFF, Comcast, New America Foundation, ITIF, LinkedIn, RealNetworks and other companies. And there are still several big announcements about additional speakers forthcoming.
But wait, there's more (really, there is)...conference sessions will be hosted by some of the industry's top journalists. Onstage interviews and roundtable discussions will be led by David Kirkpatrick of FORTUNE, Steven Levy of Newsweek, Walt Mossberg and Kara Swisher of the Wall Street Journal, Karen Tumulty of TIME and Steve Wildstrom of BusinessWeek, to name a few.
