Sen. Reid's 2007 Agenda

Nov 28, 2006

Yahoo! News is running a story from the Associated Press about Sen. Harry Reid's (D-NV) plans for the new session of Congress. The incoming Senate Majority Leader says that "ethics reform, a higher minimum wage and more money for stem cell research" will top his agenda for the Senate, along with passage of the various appropriations bills that are needed to keep the government running (as we blogged about last week, the current Senate is expected to end early without passing that legislation).

Sen. Reid also vows to keep the Senate in D.C., and in session, for more days and longer hours. Check out the entire article here.
