CNBC Bureau Chief to Emcee Summit
Jan 30, 2007
We're delighted to formally announce that Jim Goldman, Silicon Valley Bureau Chief for CNBC, will serve as emcee for Tech Policy Summit on February 26 & 27 in San Jose. Jim is a familiar face to anyone who watches CNBC and we're excited that he's agreed to host the two-day summit, in addition to conducting 1:1 onstage interviews with Carl Bass of Autodesk and Stratton Sclavos of VeriSign.
Without a doubt, one of the highlights of next month's Tech Policy Summit is the involvement of over a dozen prominent journalists like Jim who have graciously agreed to host interviews and roundtable discussions at the Summit...industry luminaries like Esther Dyson, David Kirkpatrick, Steven Levy, Walt Mossberg, Kara Swisher, Karen Tumulty and Steve Wildstrom. And that's just a partial list -- you can check out the entire roster here.
Anyone who has followed their columns, read their books or attended one of their conferences knows that each of them on his/her own can make an event worthwhile. Which is why, even though we've blogged about their participation before, we can't say enough about how grateful we are to have them participating in the program.
