New Chair for Republican High-Tech Task Force

Technology Daily (sub required) reports that Senator Gordon Smith of Oregon is replacing Sen. John Ensign of Nevada as chairman of the Senate Republican High-Tech Task Force. One of Sen. Smith's stated priorities for the Task force is "reforming the tax code and federal regulations to give [American companies]...an edge over competitors abroad."
