DRM-free Songs Debut on iTunes

In an update to this post from last month, the Associated Press reports that Apple's iTunes Store has started selling DRM-free songs today. As part of Apple's agreement with EMI, iTunes customers can purchase songs from the record label's catalog for $1.29 per song (compared to the 99 cents it costs to purchase iTunes songs with Apple's DRM protections).
