Preview Tech Policy Summit's Speaker Line-up
Nov 5, 2007
Be among the first to get a look at who will be speaking at the next Tech Policy Summit, March 26-28 in Hollywood!
While there's more to come, we've just posted details about the first wave of 40+ speakers and session hosts who will join us at the 2008 Summit.
It's an eclectic line-up that includes veteran journalists like BusinessWeek's Steve Wildstrom and The Wall Street Journal's Walt Mossberg and Kara Swisher; technologists like AMD's CTO Phil Hester and HP's SVP of research Prith Banerjee;entrepreneurs like BitTorrent co-founder Ashwin Navin and Craig Newmark (a.k.a. the Craig in craigslist.org); and D.C. insiders like former FCC commissioner Reed Hundt and Bruce Mehlman. Bruce has too many affiliations to list here but has been, among other things, Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Technology Policy.
Add to that leading experts from think tanks, nonprofit orgs and universities like Adam Thierer and Susan Crawford and you get the general idea. Lots of smart, passionate people mixing it up as they debate tech policy issues. There's more info on the conference site.
